At our first meeting, Natalie Blaney, hairstylist and owner of The Fix Salon in Little Rock, explained that she wanted a brand and website design that reflected the way clients felt in her bright, airy studio. Working with only a single logo, the brand needed to be expanded to give Natalie flexibility when creating digital content and branded salon supplies. We pulled together a moodboard filled with laid-back, California imagery and created a suite of primary and secondary logos, a “stamp” submark, patterns, and icons that can be used in a variety of ways and color combinations. Hand-drawn custom textures create the perfect backdrop for layering brand elements. All of these elements were used to create a visually stunning and informative website and foundation for branded social media content.
