THE CLIENT
The Big Muddy Inn & Blues Room is a historic six-room guest house located along the banks of the Mississippi River in Natchez, Mississippi. Owners Amy and Tracy, along with their best friend and interior designer Andrea, transformed the dated home into a colorful and eclectic retreat with bold jewel tones, curated artwork, and fabrics so luxe you want to reach out and touch them. They needed a brand that encapsulated the new life they’d breathed into The Big Muddy—something as sophisticated as its interiors, yet as funky as the bluesy tunes drifting from its music room on a Saturday night. Blues music was the inspiration for each of the room designs, as well as the Big Muddy’s art collection, so it only made sense to let the blues lead our branding design as well. The result is bold and playful—as warmly welcoming as the Big Muddy Inn’s front porch.

Nothing is more exciting than seeing an idea
and dream manifest into physical existence. Rosemary Hallmark took our foggy concept, helped refine it, created images for it, then animated it. I still am overwhelmed with how she made that happen. She has a unique way of pulling the highest and best from her clients and making dreams come true.

How do you take the vision of two artists from entirely different perspectives and land on the same page? Hire Rosemary Hallmark. Rosemary has a keen ability to work with people individually and as part of a team to grow ideas and then bring those ideas to life. She took a rock-and-roller and designer, who I never thought would end up on the same page, and knocked it out of the park.
